Committed to Providing Support
The Cochrane Temiskaming Resource Centre (CTRC) is a regional
service provider, operating under a voluntary Board of Governors appointed
from across the Districts of Cochrane and Temiskaming. We are committed
to providing support, services, programs and resources to individuals with
developmental challenges, as well as support to their families and other
agencies who serve them. The Centre receives 100% funding from the Ministry
of Community & Social Services as a Transfer Payment Agency.Click

Locations and Services
CTRC's head office at 600 Toke Street in Timmins
houses the Professional Resource Team (a multi disciplinary team consisting
of Psychology, Speech & Language, Community Support, and Training &
Public Education), the Infant Development Program, our Familyhome Program
and all administrative support staff. Our second site in Timmins, at 41
Pine Street North (referred to as our Pine North Site) contains Client Support Services, and Health Services. .
Accessible Throughout your Community
CTRC is mandated to serve the large geographic Districts
of Cochrane and Temiskaming, and in order to effectively do so we have
established several satellite offices. Most of the services provided by
our Professional Resource Team and/or Infant Development Program can be
accessed in Kirkland Lake, New Liskeard, Kapuskasing and Cochrane as well
as Timmins. The Professional Resource Team has an active caseload of over
300 clients, with the Infant Development Program serving approximately

Diverse and Unique Programs
In addition to the community outreach programs offered
by our Professional Resource Team and Infant Development Program, our Residential
Program provides accommodations to 62 individuals. Sixty-two clients live
in eleven Community Residences (group homes) in
Timmins, and an additional 24 clients are served by our Familyhome Program
throughout the Districts.
